MAPLE (Application)


Maple is a sophisticated computer algebra system for symbolic and numerical computing. Maple Release 15 includes thread and grid toolboxes that support parallel processing on multicore systems and clusters.

Licensing Information

Maple requires site licence. Please contact your home institution IT department for license information.

Maple 15 includes thread and grid packages for parallel processing. In order to perform parallel processing on distributed nodes on a cluster, however, the Maple Grid Computing Toolbox (GCT) is needed. The GTC license is sold separately and might not be purchased by individual institutions. Please check the IT department of your home institution before planning to use it on SHARCNET.
