Topic: “How to compile/run OpenFOAM in SHARCNET” Speaker: Isaac Ye, SHARCNET OpenFOAM is a free, open source CFD software package produced by a commercial company, OpenCFD Ltd. It has a large user base across most areas of engineering and science, from both commercial and academic institutions. In this webinar I will provide an overall introduction to OpenFOAM, and will talk about installation, setting up an example run, submitting a job to a queue, and checking the results using Paraview, in the context of SHARCNET. This seminar is mainly aimed at OpenFOAM beginners but some of the more advanced topics will also be covered. Please note that the webinar’s time is for the Eastern Time (EST/EDT) zone.
