Introduction

OpenCL (Open Computing Language) is a framework for writing programs that can be executed across heterogeneous platforms consisting of CPUs, GPUs, and other processors.

The version installed on SHARCNET comes as a standard part of NVIDIA’s GPU software development kit (as included with CUDA version 3.2 and later).
