XCRYSDEN (Visualization)


XCrySDen is a crystalline and molecular structure visualisation program, which aims at display of isosurfaces and contours, which can be superimposed on crystalline structures and interactively rotated and manipulated.


   XCRYSDEN is released under the GNU General Public License.
   Whenever graphics generated by XCrySDen are used in scientific
   publications, it shall be greatly appreciated to include an
   explicit reference. The preferred form is the following:

o Feb 13, 2015: VISIT is not installed as a module anymore on sharcnet. To start VISIT establish a graphical connection to one of the machines shown in the Availability Table above, as described in the sharcnet Remote_Graphical_Connections document, and then simply issue the xcrysden command to start the application.
