This seminar covers the topics of importance to new / recent SHARCNET users which we normally do not have time to cover at our weekly New User Seminars. The tips and tricks you will learn will help you to be more efficient and productive when using Compute Canada national systems. The topics include:

  - Interactive jobs
  - Requesting alternative GPUs
  - Installing software yourself
  - Advanced use of the module command
  - Remote data copying with Globus
  - Automation of job submission
  - Graham’s VDI nodes


A large fraction of the webinar will be spent in a live demonstration.
