    Overview

This annual workshop is primarily targeted at researchers who are currently using or interested in using the grid of high performance computer clusters at SHARCNET.  The workshop will include lectures and tutorials that will cover topics on parallel computing, programming, methods, network and storage and various applications. The workshop will also provide participants with updates on current technologies and trends in parallel and grid computing, from leading industrial HPC enablers such as Hewlett Packard, Intel and Platform Computing.

A joint workshop on scientific computing and applications will be held on Friday and is open to all workshop participants.

More information about SHARCNET and research highlights can be found at SHARCNET's web site.
