Please join us for SHARCNET Research Day 2009!
SHARCNET Research Day is the premier annual event at which SHARCNET professors, postdocs and graduate students meet to learn about each other's HPC-related research.
The theme of the meeting is "HPC Innovation for Research".
There will be
- two invited keynote presentations by leading HPC researchers
- several parallel tracks of 26 contributed presentations
-computational finance and statistics
-applied mathmatics
-computational chemistry and biology
-computational physics
-computational fluid dynamics and engineering
-computer science, algorithms and methods
- a special parallel track on HPC in the Digital Humanities which will be streamed via AccessGrid (https://agvs.sharcnet.ca:8000/Venues/default, in the 'Seminars' room)
- a poster session with prizes for best posters in several categories
The event will be held at the University of Waterloo on May 21st, 2009. The event is free and lunch will be provided for the first 150 registrators.
We invite you and your research group to attend SHARCNET Research Day 2009 and present your work.
